ANCESTRAL DEDICATIONS START AT BENIN BRONZE MUSEUMS IN LONDON, SATURDAY 2nd, DECEMBER 2023

Heading 1

Join the Maangamizi Educational TrustDecolonising the Archive, the Restitution Study Group and friends tomorrow Saturday 2nd December 2023 at the entrance of the British Museum and the Horniman Museum for an Ancestral Dedication. The Ancestral Dedication themed Maangamizi (Afrikan Hellacaust) Bronzes is in remembrance and honour of our Ancestors who were trafficked and enslaved for the metal manillas refabricated into the Benin bronzes as part of the Maangamizi.

We demand co-custodianship of the Maangamizi Benin bronzes, acknowledgement of the Afrikan trafficking and enslavement origin of them, and access to the relics in the countries we live in due to our Ancestors’ enslavement and our ethnocide.
